It’s officially summer! We are expecting a heatwave tomorrow in the UK so we are all eagerly tidying up our gardens and getting the BBQ food in!
At the beginning of this month I was in Barcelona for a long weekend with my gal pals! I was surprised with this trip on my birthday in February as the girls kindly paid for my flights as my gift! We had a fab time and the weather was gorgeous!
Being a fashion blogger I always pack with intent to get some content for the ‘gram! 😉
So here are my 3 top outfit picks that I packed all available from Very.co.uk
First up is my swimming costume – with temps hitting 30+ degrees I couldn’t resist a dip in the hotel pool!
This Figleaves costume is so gorg! I love the bright, floral pattern. Perfect for chilling at the pool or hitting the beach. It has a lower back with halterneck tie. The costume doesn’t offer too much support for bigger boobs but when I am just lounging at the pool it’s ideal.
My next ‘must pack pick’ is this beautiful linen mix maxi dress…
It’s 55% linen, perfect for summer when you need breathable fabrics! I love the colours of this dress and is super easy to dress down or dress up for the evening. (It’s currently on sale too! Down to £35!)
I picked the yellow colour in the dress and matched it with this cute bucket bag
The bag is just big enough to fit all essentials. The yellow colour is super versatile for summer, I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it!
I finished the look with some white mules. I love a mule! Especially during the summer, I think it really adds a bit of smartness which out being TOO fancy. Mule’s are half way between sandals and heels basically.
Finally, when you’re on holiday you need some chill time. So you need to have your holiday pjs packed for that much needed downtime! But when the temperature is hotter than your used to your ol’ flannel pjs aren’t going to cut it!
That’s why I went with the super comfy Calvin Klein cotton bralette set. Because guess what guys?! Very stock the plus sizes – woohoo!
I paired it with this lovely, lightweight kimono. I love the tassels on the bottom! Available in sizes 8-24.
