Ms Curvaceous UK 2015 Finalist!

Hello and Happy New Year to you all!

Well I’ve been a bit rubbish keeping my blog up to date. I was crazy busy on the run up to Christmas working as an Elf…yes an elf and it was hilarious! But starting now I shall be regularly keeping you updated with all the latest goss.

Firstly, I am super excited to announce that I am one of 20 finalists in Ms Curvaceous UK! I can’t believe it.

We have weekly rehearsals on the lead up to the Grand Final on Jan 31st. I am learning so much from this great team and I have met some beautiful, inspiring women who make me proud to be curvy and it has been so refreshing seeing women who are comfortable and happy in their skin! Hallelujah! More updates on this to come 😀

I have been obsessed with plus-size model Ashley Graham – check her out on Instagram! I just want to quote her on a recent interview :

“I think that you can be healthy at any size and my goal is to help and educate women on that. It doesnt matter if you’re a size 2 or 22, as long as you’re taking care of your body, working out, and telling yourself ‘I love you’ instead of taking in the negativity of beauty standards.”

I love that and just wanted to share.
