Summer 2013 has arrived!!
And I am currently on a 10 hour flight to Houston, Texas to spend the summer with my amazing parents. Everyone who knows me knows that I lived there when I was younger – I don’t talk about it much 😉 – so it’s a special place for me that holds a lot of memories.
But yesterday was a big day…our last day as 2nd years at PPA. 2nd year has been a hell of a ride! As a year group we’ve grown even closer…maybe a little too close, some people might think it’s weird but it’s us. And I love it.
Personally, I have had quite a few breakthroughs this year that has made me a stronger person and a stronger performer.
It’s very interesting watching how other people deal with situations in life and I’ve really locked down on who I am, my morals, what I want out of life, how I treat people and how I want to be treated. I feel like a grown up now. Or as Beyoncé says – I’m a grown woman!
I just want to thank our amazing tutors at PPA who have been the most helpful supportive people ever! They go the extra mile for us and I can speak for us all when I say we realise how hard you all work and we appreciate it so much! And we will do you proud when we eventually fly the PPA nest! The thought of Graduation next year….it’s going to be tough! Wah only 1 year left!! 😦
I’m going to make this a short one or I will ramble on & on & on about people and memories that have made the past 2 years the most exciting times.
To round it up…the lesson that I continue to learn is that everything happens for a reason and if you work hard, stay true to yourself and always do the right thing – good things will come!
